Felled long eucalyptus tree

This was real untouched eucalypt forest, open plains of buttongrass and heathland, magnificent rainforests and mysterious blackwood swamps.
But, eucalyptus has also a harmful effect on the environment and ecology by draining water resources; it enhances soil erosion, suppresses undergrowth, depletes soil nutrients and allopathically affects nearby agricultural crop. Even though, there has been concern among users, growers, stakeholders, scientists and farmers that Eucalyptus trees are affecting ecosystem both negatively and positively. The environmental impacts and ecological services of Eucalyptus trees have been studied only to limited extent. Therefore, the main objective of this review paper is to highlight the socio-economic and environmental impacts of eucalyptus.

Was für ein Riese. Auf den ersten Blick wirkte das wie ein Wanderweg, erst dann sieht man dass da ein gefällter Baum liegt.
