Nice picture, the line of the road leading into the distance is one of those "rules" in photography which always pay off to use. Maybe a cycler driving into the distance would make the scene just a bit more exciting ?

  That's a good point! I was recently reading about the rules that go into composition, and one of the points made was that leading lines and curves draw the eye in, but without a subject, the image is just "Eye Candy".
