Elegant Zinnia

I took this image of an Elegant zinnia on the 6. August 2018 at 14:14 in the garden of my parents. I used a EOS 750D with the Tamron 90mm macro objective. The picture is not image edited yet. (0067)

The picture is not perfect - see the comments below. But it was a quick shot after I spotted the bee which disappeared pretty soon.

The picture is on the startpage of fotocommunity.com tomorrow and it is already my fourth picture on teh start page. Something I never achieved in German fotocommunity.

a good scene!
Some suggestions: consider the "Golden Ratio" by moving the flower more to the left (or right). The different colored flower in the background distracts from the main motive. Give the picture a little bit more sharpness.

Die Szene is schön. Einige Vorschläge zur besseren Bildgestaltung:
die Gestaltungsregel mit dem "goldenen Schnitt" verbessert das Foto auf einfache Weise. Hauptmotive werden nur zu bestimmten Zwecken mittig gestellt.
Die Blume im Hintergrund irritiert und lenkt den Blick vom Hauptmotiv ab.
Und etwas nachzuschärfen hilft, auch der Blüte mehr Geltung zu verschaffen, weil sich die Augen der Betrachter auf die scharfen Bereiche des Fotos konzentrieren.

  Hi Matthias, thanks for your comment. Your critics are completely right. I didn't follow the "Golden Ratio". Pretty often I do so but in this case I saw the bee and could make only some quick shot before the bee disappeared. The central autofocus field was activated and I didn't find the time to change it to another field more on the left because I was afraid the bee would leave. I didn't focus with the central field and moved the camera likle I always do because the bee was moving around and I didn't want to have the insect outside of the focus. You are also right that the pink flower in the background is distracting. Again, I saw the bee and was speeding up instead of planning.
  
  I was thinking a long time whether I should publish the picture. But I like complete things and wanted to published it. It is the picture number 100 in my account and I can't continue with that account or I have to buy premium. Therefore I was considering to delete the picture and to add another fresh one. I didn't procced with that idea because you gave me a kind feedback and I didn't want to delete the picture like being angry about a negative feedback.
  
  For my very surprise the Fotocommunity just mailed me that the picture will be the startpage photo tomorrow morning. I can't understand that decision because I have much better pictures in my account. But now I won't delete it. I can't understand how the pictures are choosen. Yesterday I checked the German fotocommunity with the section "old startpage pictures" and I was surprise. Some very, very nice pictures but many pictures which I don't consider to be be so extraordinary beautiful.
  
  I wrote you in English because some people might read our comments tomorrow morning and won't understand the German version.
