El Paso City Walk [#2]

I know this area for about 27 years and since then El Paso downtown is one of my very favourite places. This place has an exceptional atmosphere and history. I love to walk around there for hours, watching the people and exploring changes or new views.

This the old Plaza Motor Inn on the right. It was the first highrise hotel, Conrad Hilton built. It opened in 1930.
On the left is located the Texas Tower. Unfortunately I could not find any historical data.

The sign at the bottom "Around corner Lolita" does not solicite a dubious bar, but is an advertisement for a bail bond agency on Texas Ave :-)

    Ich kenne die Situation vor Ort nicht, doch ansonsten hätte ich lieber die (ganze) Laterne mit den Straßenschildern und im Hintergrund das weiße Haus aufgenommen.

    Das linke Haus hat eine schöne Fassade und die Strassenschilder gefallen mir auch

    Schöen Stadtansicht. Das Straßenschild hast Du auch gut mit einbezogen, nur schade daß die Lampe nicht ganz mit drauf ist. Dafür müßte dann unten etwas dran glauben damit es wieder quadratisch ist.
