ein Hauch Vergangenheit
Der „Kronen-Palast“, welches die genaue Übersetzung von Taj Mahal ist, liegt im indischen Bundesstaat Uttar Pradesh, in der Stadt Agra. Doch nicht nur das Gebäude ist historisch überaus interessant, auch der davor angelegte 18 Hektar große Garten übertrifft die schönsten Erwartungen.
Laut den Überlieferungen soll der damalige Großmogul Shah Jahan diesen Garten (und das Taj Mahal) zum Gedenken an seine verstorbene Frau Mumtaz Mahal anlegen haben lassen.
