...you photographed it from the Cello-builders-house...I've forgotten his name, shame on me...But it's the first time I see the green leaves...when we were there, it always was winter..Ciao, mia sorella! Ti abbraccio! Love, Ansgar

Dear Ansgar, I think I took this photo from the Sottoportego Falier, on the opposite side of the rio.
I prefer to see Venice  when the weather is stable and when the Art and Architecture Biennale is open, so from April to November. It's warmer (sometimes too much), there's more tourism and prices are higher, it's also more difficult to find a free house in that period but I can't stand the sadness of winter....
      CIAo buona giornata, many kisses!

...yes, and there once was a manufactory for violoncelli - I once saw a TV-feature about this - Sol Gabetta, the artist, plays on a violoncello which was made there...in the 18th century...Ciao, Crissy - have a nice weekend! Love, Ansgar.
