Venice Grand Canal
The Vogalonga is a historic, non-competitive, recreational and amateur regatta. It takes place one Sunday a year and passes through the most enchanting parts of the northern lagoon of Venice, covering a distance of approximately 30 kilometres.
During the race, all other boats, including public water buses, are suspended.
What a peace then!
