Douglas DC-3

This 35 mm photograph pays homage to the first aircraft ever designed in a wind tunnel and with an unlimited hour airframe. Originally used by airlines, this aircraft was adopted for military use during WW II and is still in use all over the world today flying cargo and passengers. Modernized versions are flying today with glass cockpits and turbo charged engines.
