SCIENCE FICTION ? MAYBE?

LIKE WHAT TOOK PLACE IN TORONTO, CANADA IN THE 21ST CENTURY WHEN ALL THE ACHIEVEMENTS OF TECHNOLOGY AND CIVILIZATION COME TO A STANDSTILL AND THE WORLD PLUNGES BACK TO DARKNESS AND THE STONE AGE IN A SPLIT SECOND WHEN ALLMIGHTY ELECTRICITY DISAPPEARS.

GOOD LESSON TO US AND MAYBE FOR ALL OF YOU, TOO.

    Janos,
Speaking of Gehry...this form is very Gehryish! Very nice sculptural quality, especially considering the simplicity of the material. Good find and capture.

an eye-catching image! the red helix, vaguely futuristic looking in the white snow… and yes, it was a turbulent christmas this year. i guess we'd better get used to it: atlantic canada buried under loads of snow. the western parts of europe in the grip of a severe winter storm – fatalities, destruction, electricity gone, turkey dinners dipped in candle light. and record almost summery above-zero temperaturs in parts of my country. another christmas to remember… next christmas it will be the 10th anniversary of the horrifying tsunami that struck south asia on boxing day and took so many lives in so many countries that it seemed and still seems completely unreal… global warming may be an issue after all! but personally i think we people are a sluggish species, reluctant if it comes to learning our lessons. so here's to the wishy-washy resolutions of the next un climate change conference!! ; ) greetings, sabine.

maybe it's a fence, but it may be it is a computer generated graphic dated back to the seventieth
