Dingmans Falls

From my hike today up from the Delaware River to Dingmans Falls near Dingmans Ferry Pennsylvania.
We still have very warm summer temperatures so it was quite nice to walk through the shady Forrest up to the Falls.

Ohne zu sehen, wer der Urheber dieser Ansicht ist, habe ich gedacht, dies ist ein Schwedenbild. Koennte dahin passen. So kann man sich aber taeuschen.
Eine "erfrischende" Aufnahme des W.-Falls, vom Anfang bis zum Auslauf.
Wie das wohl erst mit Herbstlaub aussaehe !

... und zwischendurch zur Erfrischung, die Schuhe ausziehen, um kurz ins Wasser zu gehen. Das soll beim Wandern die heißen Füße kühlen. Das Foto lädt dazu ein. Sonne und Schatten sowie das herabstürzende Wasser des Falles drücken die Erfrischung sehr gut aus.
