Das Deadvlei, eine von Dünen umschlossene Ton-Pfanne, ist sicher eine der Hauptattraktionen in Namibia. Und natürlich durfte ein Besuch dieser einzigartigen Landschaft auch für mich nicht fehlen ;-). Der letzte Abschnitt der Anfahrt führt durch streckenweise sehr tiefen Sand, 4WD ist hier definitiv ein Muss. Passiert man dann zu Fuß die letzte Düne vor dem Deadvlei, ist der erste Blick in die Pfanne wirklich atemberaubend. Zum Fotografieren ist diese Location vor allem auch aufgrund der schönen Farbkontraste einzigartig schön.

The Deadvlei, a pan surrounded by dunes, is certainly one of the main attractions in Namibia. And of course a visit to this unique landscape was not to be missed for me either ;-). The last part of the journey leads through very deep sand, 4WD is definitely a must here. Passing the last dune before Deadvlei, the first view into the pan is really breathtaking. For taking pictures, this location is uniquely beautiful, especially because of the beautiful colour contrasts.
