City Pillar in Mueang Loei
In the City Pillar Shrine and Chao Por Kut Pong Shrine are the sacred things that Loei people respects. Many animal statues such as elephants and horses have been given to the shrine. There are also other sacred statues such as Phra Sankachan who brings luck and happiness, Buddha statues. Singha statues are located at the door of the shrine due to Chinese belief.
The pillar also is the mark of the position Zero from where its counted the distance to every direction in the province of Loei.
