    Thanks for your comment. About your question.
    Yes I used a circular polarizing filter to get the contrast between the sky and the white blossoms.
    I already checked the page from chromasia. Indeed the pictures are amazing ! I think the Canon 20D could be a very good choice.

    It's not so easy to shoot white cherry blossoms against a pale sky because there is no real contrast. Have you got a polarizing filter to improve contrast in the sky?

    By the way, I'm pondering purchasing a DSLR camera myself. To shoot great pictures you need a good camera and good lenses as well. I was stunned by the blog from amateur photographer David Nightingale to be seen at www.chromasia.com. The camera and the lens he uses most of all must be a very good choice: A Canon 20D and a Canon 17-40mm zoom lens.
