Negli anni '60 ho vissuto per un certo periodo in Sardegna. Allora l'aereo non era popolare come oggi, quindi per andare e tornare dal "Continente" si prendeva la nave. Alla partenza si mollavano gli ormeggi e la catena veniva issata a bordo, il contrario all'arrivo. L'immagine mi ha riportato a quegli anni, con molta nostalgia, anche perchè si era ancora giovani. La tua proposta, a parte quanto mi ha ricordato, è interessante e ben realizzata, con il primo piano nitidissimo della catena e un bokeh ben evidente. Ciao. Fernando.

  CIAo Fernando! Credo in effetti che sia una foto che evoca il " viaggio" per eccellenza, non quello che ti porta da un continente all'altro in poche ore, mentre mangi o guardi un film, ma quello vissuto a gradi, con le attese e la consapevolezza delle distanze che si stanno coprendo minuto per minuto e del paesaggio che ci sta intorno, anche quando è solo cielo, mare, stelle, vento, forme vaghe all'orizzonte... Di quei viaggi lì, parlo: faticosi e indimenticabili. amc
  PS: Ora mi è venuta però la curiosità di sapere dove risiedevi in Sardegna... se non sono indiscreta. Caro saluto!

..a strong binding to ..the port? It is remarkable that the chain has 2 different colours...2 people, that won't let the other go? Or perhaps the bonds from the ship to the harbour...? I must say, I would not go from a mediterranean port - it's to lovely to be in a mediterranean city - and the open sea...you never know, what's in store for you...Ciao, my dear! Buona serata!   Ferries are mainly used to travel from one island to another: in Greece, Spain, Italy, Turkey and throughout the Mediterranean...

  ..than it's mainly a good foto. And it is very fine, that the blue (violet?) part of the chain has the same colour as the city in the background...it gives a bond between ship and city or port....Mille baci, mia sorella! Your brother
