Carriage house at Wat Xieng Thong complex
The Carriage House, or Royal Funerary Chariot Hall (Hor Latsalat) is located at the eastern edge of Wat Xieng Thong and to the right of the city entry from Thanon Sakkarine. It was built to house and preserve the funeral carriage of King Sisavang Vong (1885-1959), King of Luang Prabang, 1904-46, and King of Laos, 1946-59.

The photo was captured in 1989 by a conventional Ektachrome 50 ASA slide film and scanned with a NIKON CoolScan 5000 ED.

ich erinnere mich, da war Luang Prabang noch touristenleer.Schöner Scan, vor allem in den Farben. Ich wundere mich allerdings über das starke Korn im Himmel, der Ektachrome 50 hatte eigentlich kein sichtbares Korn und wenn du den Scanner auf 4000 dpi bei Bildgröße 24 x 36 mm einstellst und dazu noch die IR-Staubentfernung einschaltest dürfte auch durch das Scannen kein Korn entstehen.
