Candlesnuff fungi surrounding a single unidentified fungi

Late on a rainy autumn day, this picture was taken on Kodak Z700 using macro auto programme, 1/90th, f3.4, ISO 80. Flash was screened with doubled white kitchen roll and a foil reflector used to minimise shadows behind. This group of Candlesnuff Fingi is the tallest of this genus I have ever seen, with some reaching 6cm high/

A great series of macro shots, Neil, you must have the complete collection by now.

The problems I have with DOF do my head in. I have no control over exposure settings in Macro mode on the Z700, as it is really a point and shoot with a nice lens. If I go for more control, I have to move back to a normal focal length, and then I lose my point of interest. I will hopefully overcome this small problem when I get my next camera, which will not be this christmas sadly. :o)

Great colors and good sharpness. But this one could use some more DOF, by using a higher F stop.
    Greetings, Cees
