Buddha statue in the new temple complex
The most important of these characteristics are perhaps the mudras, or hand gestures, of the Buddha. These well-defined gestures have a fixed meaning throughout all styles and periods of Buddha images.
The colorful decorated standing Buddha image was photographed in 2005 after the new built temple complex Luam Pu Kham Di near the city of Loei was opened for worshippers.
