: ))))))) i like your little caption here! i know what you mean… have experienced the same sensation: being all enthusiastic about a certain "photgraphical situation", shoot happily away at it, and then starting to doubt oneself: "isn't this what everybody else would be shooting, too? am i shooting it mainly because i'm trying to imitate pictures i've seen in books or in other photographers' protfolios??" to me that's the hardest part abou photography: being yourself, doing your own unique and authentic thing without unconsciously copying from others. but i digress… ; )). don't think you took a boring shot here, anna! there's a cute story lurking in it: a gentle-faced canada goose not wanting to join his family for a swim because secretely he wishes to be a squirrel sitting on the wooden railing and waitng for some kind caring kids to come along and feed him…"but no, here i am: a born goose and supposed to like water! no, no, no, no, i won't dive in!! webbed feet or not, i like to stay dry!! well, i guess, i'll just stand here a little longer, pretend that i care about water, while secretely dreaming of waking up as a nut-loving squirrel one day…" ; )))))) greetings, sabine.dgraham 04/09/2012 8:14
