Born on the eve of winter….. (2)
A birth on the eve of winter is a great oddity among birds ! But on the 1st of november 2018, 2 black swan chicks were born as you could already see in my picture below.
Now 3 weeks later, both chicks are in good health and have already grown a bit.
Unfortunately, this time I could only shoot one chick.
Dutch name : Zwarte zwaan (kuiken)
German name : Trauerschwan, auch Schwarzschwan genannt (Küken)
Latin name : Cygnus atratus
Born on the eve of winter….. (1)
