That's interesting. No one has said that before. Actually, I took this before showering, so the hair isn't styled and I have no lipgloss on.

But I like to hear what others see in an image. Helps me to pay attention to detail.

    Thanks everyone!

I find it disturbing not least because of the styled hair and lipgloss. But then I guess it ties in with your other work where you use your body as a canvas (canvass?): here it's blood and not text screaming out the message...

I was a law enforcement officer for a long time, and saw even worse then is portrayed here, when it comes to domestic violence, it hurt everyone, especially the kids...I wish God would make a rule that if you hit your women in anger, your you know what, falls off...regards, den

This is one in a series that comments on the convenient excuses given in rape cases.

The victim is dragged through the mud, exposing every so-called mistake in an attempt to discredit her, while the defendant's past is hidden safe and sound.

We are tired of being told that we could have prevented it had we done this or not done that. Don't wear short skirts, don't get drunk, don't sleep around! How about telling the rapists to stop raping us!

I know it's disturbing, but may we have the decency to not look away.

this is a disturbing image, not sure why you would want to portray this.
