the photo was taken at an event organised in partnership by a child protection and an animal protection association, with the aim of raising awareness on violence and cruelty issues. the puppy was up for adoption, the little girl was visiting. she picked up the puppy and started walking with it in her arms; when the pup fell asleep, she sat down with it. i thought the pic captured the spirit of the event :)
