Flowery source forests, small babbling brooks, meadows fringed with willows and sunken roads alternate with each other in a small pattern in Nature Reserve the Burreken. In the spring you will be overwhelmed by the beauty of flowers as anemones, wild garlic and hyacinths.
The Burreken is located in Zegelsem, a small village in the Flemish Ardennes, in the province of East Flanders, Belgium.

the anemone nemorosa – for me the truest harbinger of spring of all! remember that as a child, whenever my parents took me out for a walk through the forest in late winter/early spring, and we happenend to come a cross a little "colony" of "buschwindröschen" ; ), i knew for sure, it spring was here now! so cool and friendly and confident looking! and so many of them in your image! great, how they are all greedily catching the light! and a great sense of depth, too, with the blurry outlines of many more in the back! greetings, sabine.SYLKON 28/04/2013 20:56
