a splendi Winter scene with the high peaks fantastic
in their snow cover and with the ramatic clouds... an
excellent presentation, don't know how you isolated
it from a film image !!

  Thanks so much, Adele.
  Actually, not winter, although the tallest peaks certainly were adorned by some snow-cover. It was really the clouds that made the scene so appealing for me on that afternoon. And of course I loved the lone evergreen and the piled logs in foreground.
  Not sure what you meant by how I "isolated" it from a film image. I was simply using my trusty Nikon Coolscan film scanner to create the digital file with which I'd subsequently work.
