The Beagle chanel
The chanel is a strait in the Tierra del Fuego archipelago that trends east west, 150 miles,belonging partly in Chile and partly in Argentina.Boat cruises cast off through it to visit the islands around with sea lions, cormorans and penguins. The outlet of Beagle chanel is considered as the gateway to the Antarctic.
The photo was taken at sun rise during a walk along the canal on the way to board the ship to the islands.
