6 Train Station (*) on New York City's Lexington Avenue (**) Line, a rider waits to board a downtown local.

(**) While "on" the Lexington Avenue Line, this station and the next few in the downtown direction lie
under the much wider Park Avenue, allowing for four tracks to run along the same level. The diagonal
shift in alignment happens at the Grand Central-42nd Street complex, a few blocks to the north.
