What were you trying to tell with this picture? the fact that it was a happy and joyfull day? well... you did not really succeed. The ladies do not really look very happy if i look at their faces ( one of them does not even look at you ). What you could have done in this case is ask them to sort of "run" in your direction. In most cases they will immediately start looking more joyfull and you get a picture which just boosts happiness.
