      That is a very kind comment. I imagine you mean Constable's painting of salisbury cathedral.
      In my opinion - the particularly beautiful thing about Fountains Abbey - is that it has been ruined (broken down) ; but not too much.
      A lot of the walls, columns and arches survive.
      So - it is popular with photographers (and painters). Mark.
