Self-Portraits

Since the dawn of photography people have been making portraits.

This project is dedicated to having you, the user, show this community an artistic representation of yourself.
Portraits are often simple "head shots" and are not usually overly elaborate or creative.

The intent is to show the basic appearance of yourself, and occasionally some artistic insight into your own personality.

Maybe a taste of soulsearching?


Terms and conditions for the project are:

Each user is allowed to upload one photo into Motifs / Self-Portraits.
No copyright symbols are allowed to be seen on the photo. Every picture is uploaded anonymously so that it can be fairly voted on.
The upload procedure is like any other photo:
Pictures in the dimensions of up to 1000 pixels and up to 130 kB or 260 kB (double file size) are allowed.

The project is open for one months time. It starts on May 20, 2005 at 20:00 central european time (CET) and ends on June 20, 2005 at 20:00 central european time (CET).

After closure, you'll have the opportunity to vote from a rating of 1-10 (poor to excellent) for each uploaded picture. The three pictures with the highest score win.

The polls will remain open until June 30, 2005 at 21:00 CEST (8:00 pm GMT) .
We will post the winners soon afterwards.
