Groundbirds
The fowl like ground living birds are well known as many of them are game birds. Birds for this group are typically birds that spend most of their time on the ground. When approached they will usually run away before flying off. These include birds like Guinea Fowls, Francolin, Spur Fowl, Quail, Pheasant and Plovers.
