I’m a 50-year-old photographer living in Münster, Germany.
My fascination with photography began 40 years ago, when I first held a small pocket camera in my hands. What started as a quiet curiosity mostly - focused on documenting my travels - evolved over time into a deeper creative calling. For many years, my photographs were snapshots: glimpses of places, people, and fleeting moments. Technically limited, yes - but filled with a desire to see.

In 2021, after years of exploration, workshops, and gently stepping into more intimate work with friends and family, I shifted my focus to portrait and nude photography. What I found was not just a genre—but a dialogue. A space where trust, vulnerability, and expression come together to create something timeless.

Today, I dedicate as much time as possible to photographing people—seeking not perfection, but presence. Each image is shaped with care, from the moment of connection to the final nuances of retouching.

The pictures you see here were created between 2021 and 2025.
They are the result of shared moments. My work is rooted in collaboration—models are not passive subjects, but co-creators. Their ideas, energy, and individuality are not only welcomed but vital. Each session aims to unfold something honest and powerful: a visual narrative of beauty, character, and emotion.

Sub|Liminal Photography is an artistic alter ego that allows me the freedom to create without compromise.
By profession, I am a full-time physician. Photography does not pay my rent—but it feeds a different part of me. Because nude art can evoke discomfort in some professional contexts, I keep both worlds entirely separate. One heals the body, the other explores the soul.
