About me

I started taking snapshots when I was nine, using handed down cameras from the 1920s and 30s, and between the ages of 12 and 16 most pictures were of steam locomotives. Although I did some black and white darkroom work my interest did not revive until I got a Canon manual SLR in the 1980s.
I am hoping to improve my pictures by joining this group, by studying the works of others, and from any comments received
I still have an interest in trains, so I guess that some railway photographs will be part of the mix
