About me

I am a dutch landscape architect and cartographer; so I'm very interested in the combination of the natural and the cultural landscape.

I'm experimenting with digital photography...I'm very happy with my Canon EOS 400D. I had to take a lot of pictures for my study, and I also had to manipulate them. That's how I got involved with photography. I'm fascinated by the fact that a picture can tell a whole different story of one and the same subject, just by choosing a different lighting, frame, exposure time, filters etc. And...le moment décisif, as the late Henri Cartier-Bresson liked to call it.

I've already learned a lot here, just by looking at all the small pieces of art scattered around. Thanks, you guys!

the noise programmes worked great. unfortunatly it also watermarked the picture becuase its only a trial version! but thanks for the reference:) i have two new pics up if you want to let me know what you think?
