Heliopan is a producer of filters for photography and video: UV, Skylight, Polarizing, Infrared and so on....

More details you can find here:
http://www.heliopan.de/Heliopan-Filters.pdf
The rest of the homepage is in German only, unbelievable...

The RG695 is a nearly black infrared filter for analog b/w IR or digital IR and blocks ~ 80%-85% of the visible light: The film or sensor is able to react on infrared light, the result is a strange b/w tonal range or - in digital IR - false colours.

You can find more infrared photos here
http://www.fotocommunity.com/pc/pc/cat/5017

Anyway, the profile of Project BW is a look worth! He knows his job... (even if it is a pity that he has deleted most of his IR photos.)

cheers,
Olli
