We can learn photography from feature films. I did so..
I'm a video editor and started interesting in photography due to my full contact life with moving images.

I want to suggest here an example of DIVINE photography in cinema (as well as gorgeous directing and storytelling).
Go to cinema and see Goodnight and good luck, directed and co-written by George Clooney.

Astounding black and white.. not kidding..

hi, george. i like your suggestion for i can add it to movies in b/w. you can learn an immense amount by watching the old film noir movies of the 30" and 40"s. "The Bat", well the list is too long but you seem to be a person that has been doing the same thing. composition, the use of shadows and highlights, and many other lessons in these movies for a b/w photog. happy F16. neutron
