Pentax DA*300 vs. Sigma 150-500

Want to buy Pentax DA* 300mm f4 for my Pentax Kx. But wonder if Sigma 150-500mm f5-6,3 could be a good choice instead... Any advice?
Want to use lens for birds, animals, etc.

According to my own experience for wildlife photo as longer focus as better, so 150-500 mm is better than 300 mm
I have Sigma 100-300/f4 with my Canon 550D/650D and know that 300 mm very often are quite shot , so I`ll plan to buy 2x tele converter.
