Nikon D70 Batterygrip
Ruud van der Lubben

I just received it, and it works quite ok.
The cable is ofcourse only a substitute, as i mostly work in landscape formate this was for me not the most important. The camera however handles a lot better with this grip !
When using the cable, the release is just slightly more sluggish, but when using the cam on the auto or programmes it works quite satisfactory.
After all the 2nd release we also did not have in the analog time ( ancient days 8-)) )

I actually just bought at the building-market 2 lampstands as used for building halogen lamps, for just over € 10 a piece, they go to 2,5 meter high and can be turned into backround setup very easily.

how to select a flim for certain event......??????

I agree with Dirk, trying out films is the only way to know best which film to use, besides, that is half the fun of photography. If I got back a dollar for every film I ever tried... No one said photography was inexpensive! Good luck

hi,
does anybody know a place where you can find used SLR accesories in Berlin, Germany ?
i found lots of websites offering used gear, but i`d like to walk into a real shop and feel the smell of a used 50mm lens for example, before i buy it...
gibt es denn so was in Berlin ?

On this side of Fotocommunity it's ENGLISH all the way. you can always click the [de] button on the top right hand corner, and find yourself in German land. I'm new here, and figured this out right away. On the German side of fotocommunity the (de) changes to [com].

If you are serious about photography ( without going pro) I would recommend going for what you can affort...an SLR will give you many more options than a point and shoot will.
but...fun you can have with both!
