My name is Rafael Delgado, just think of the red ninja turtle, the italian painter, or the arc angel, one of those should help you remember my name. I was born and bred in Pasadena, California and love this city. There is always something else to shoot everyday.
I greatly enjoy hitting the road, of course with my camera by my side. I have several themes but I try to capture what I enjoy, night shots, and macro. For some weird reason I shoot alot of chairs and benches, and tripods, I just do, wish I knew why. Any way, the best is when I am to ignite emotions in others with my images. This is the reason why I enjoy photojournalism so much.
Feel free to write or comment. I do not bite, unless you happen to be a cheeseburger.
Equipment: simply helps, it doesn't make up for lack of talent but here is my gear.
film - Pentak K1000 with a variety of lenses
digital - Canon 1D, 50mm 1.4, 70-200 F/4 17-40 F/4,
580ex flash,
I do rent alot at Samy's mostly those huge heavy lenses that if you drop will basically have sell your car. Even with that risk, I like Samys because they take care of me.
Take care, and if care to go out shooting, street photographer is fun to do in pairs.
