About me
I live in a small town in Cheshire called Frodsham together with my wife and two dogs. I work in the Aerospace industry and have done for the last eleven years. My hobbies are Fly-fishing, Airgun target shooting and one of the founders of the United Kingdom Association for Hunter Field Target (UKAHFT).
Photography was an old hobby from the 70’s that became progressively more expensive with film and processing so I let it go. My first camera was a Fujica SLR that I bought while I was stationed in Germany and was trained as an Army photographer to photograph riots to picking out riot ringleaders in Northern Ireland, fortunately I didn’t get the chance to use this training as I was sent to another unit in the United Kingdom.
When I started Digital photography 2 years ago I just had a camera for normal family work. Since then I have progressed and started taking photo’s at the UKAHFT events with a Finepix F10 but now I have moved onto a Finepix 9600 as I’m now taking more photo’s than ever and needed the capacity that the camera offers. Over the past 2 years I have taken over 4000 photographs of family pets and shooting events.
