About me
I am Jakub Cíbik, amateur photographer from Púchov, Slovakia. My favourites genres are landscape, macro and close up (animals and flowers) and village country.
I focus on northwestern part of White Carpathians (Biele Karpaty). It is the westernmost mountain range of the Carpathian Mountains. There are not very high peaks, but nature there is very fascinating with dolomite cliffs, flowery meadows, big forests and two castle ruins. The areas contain a wide variety of fauna and flora. Some species found there are endemic, especially some types of orchids which grow only in the meadows of the White Carpathians.
My equipment: Pentax K-5 + 16-45 and Tamron 90/2.8 adaptall 2.
