About me

I have taken photos since childhood. Photos for me are a means of communicating my inner thoughts and sharing these with others.

I like colour, texture, pattern and clarity in a photograph. Crispness in composition is important to me and I prefer taking landscapes or cityscapes.

I am now using a Nikon F80 (N80 in USA) with standard lens. I am moving towards digital and will soon acquire a D70 with semi-telephoto lens.

I live in Dublin in Ireland, but have spent most of my life in Africa; Zimbabwe and South Africa: Johannesburg with all its zest and vitality.

I am employed by a firm of Management Consultants based in Johannesburg and have travelled fairly extensively throughout Africa south of the Equator: Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Namibia and Swaziland.

I now travel around Ireland, the home of my ancestors.
