Winding Fence
This image was taken on the side of the road. Its a simple corn field in the background but I felt that the fence winding down the way made for a decent subject.
Some tech stuff:
Camera: Canon 1D MkII
Lens: L70-200 f2.8ISM
f-stop: 5.6
time: 1/250
shote at 80mm
spot metered with sekonic 508Z
About the exposure levels: I chose to expose based on the dark part of the fence and some foreground shadows. The darkest part of the fence was kept in Zone 3 and the snow worked out in the proper Zone 7 in the bright spots and Z5 in the shadows...
