The Test of Time
We have to be delusional to think all our dreams have come true. The life we live is good and grants us comfort while we sit safely in our air-condition room and open say our life is better than others. You have to have a lot of faith to believe that, or to align to someone that tells you that. Dreams are but goals that may come or not. Dreams are what die. They robs us all of your confidence. You may live a structured life and acquire the tokens which make you feel successful . Near the end you live long enough to feel the torment of loosing your ideals that made you which have abandoned your some one else younger and vibrant and just a bigger fool as we all are. In time we grow old and die, then soon forgotten like the images we post. can anything stand the test of time. I wonder.

The test of time, and the test of characters...adjusted to the place they saw their dreams born and shuttered...until they die hoping for a rebirth and a new life in a wonderland. Vor zwei Tagen habe ich einen lieben Verwandten auf seinem letzten Weg begleitet. Ein nicht einfacher Weg, doch das Leben ist nun mal endlich; für den Einen früher, für den Anderen später.In diesem kurzen Moment der Andacht war mir bewusst, wie schnell ein Leben zu Ende sein kann, auch das meine.
Was nützt mir mein Auto, wenn es zur Todesfalle werden kann, wie das ausgebrannte Wrack am Rande der Autobahn?
Was nützt mir eine Klimaanlage wenn rundherum alles kaputt geht, verdorrt oder überschwemmt ist?
Was nützt mir all der Überfluss, der mich umgibt, wo ich doch davon das Wenigste benötige zum täglichen Leben?
Wie gesagt: Es ist überflüssig!
Nur ein Bruchteil dessen würde Menschen, wie denen hier von Dir fotografisch festgehalten, ein Leben in Würde ermöglichen!
Es ist sicher ein sehr gutes Foto; mich macht es unendlich traurig! .. und wütend auf all die Aasgeier dieser Welt!

Very powerful image, love it. Sometimes we make mistakes in comparing our dreams with dreams of others but everybody dreams about something. Dreams never die, there is ever something we want and maybe this old woman has no dreams ever more or maybe there in the street she is still dreaming about something, no matter how old or tired she may be with all the signs of time on her face.stev-man 05/06/2015 21:16
