The Middle Ages (82) : Prison guard
This series is an attempt to illustrate how life was going on in the Middle Ages.
No castle without prison and no prison without guard....
Imprisonment was not a usual punishment in the Middle Ages. Most prisoners were kept awaiting a mock trial, a penalty, a corporal punishment or death.
