The Living Forest (391) : Robin
I guess that everybody knows this beautiful and photogenic little fellow, the robin, my favourite bird.
This passerine bird with its striking orange breast is found across Europe, east to western Siberia and south to North Africa.
It’s one of the few birds with both male and female bearing a similar plumage.
Unfortunately, cold and long winters seriously affect the robin population.
Dutch name : Roodborstje
German name : Rotkehlchen
Latin name : Erithacus rubecula
