The large skipper is a butterfly that isn't spotted very often and can be found anywhere where wild grasses are allowed to grow tall.
It’s, although called ‘large’, a relatively small butterfly, but a very active one.
Unfortunately, it stands on the Red List of threatened species !
Dutch name : Groot Dikkopje
German name : Rostfarbige Dickkopffalter
Latin name : Ochlodes sylvanus
