The Glorious Ball
Components taken from original images statue, manipulated globe from the Marine Building, Vancouver BC, background from the ceiling of ourdoor garden building at Vascaya, Miami; and Kyoko from modeling shoot Seattle. Over these images a filter taken from a wall at Vascaya. I don't know the artist who painted the ceiling.....and this was just a small section of it....

crazy mix of povs! impressive ball, too, it appearss almost out of place and the pedestal isn't really "home," it seems. it's an odd work for the eyes to digest, but i'm not really complainig. the ball and pedestal might like a shadow or some other form of context in this setting but the relative flatness of the comp is interesting as it is... all sort of out of context, it feels. maybe i'd like to see something that echoed the detail in the ball a bit less subtly, but anyway.... i like the uh trips you take us on with these images from all over! : ))sk
