John, can't understand what you are saying here.This photo was proposed for Gallery.
Gallery means, that a photo is in a very special kind better than most others.
It doen's matter, if a photo is "natural" - it is a question of the quality in artistic as well as technical .
None of us show lot of gallery-photos. Many show very good photos - but gallery is not good - it is (better: should be) extremely good !
And as many voters I'm of the opinion: this is good -but not extremely good. That easy is gallery......

Veronica, I am stunned by some of the un-measuring remarks.I was of the opinion that FC was for uploading photographs on, it is
now apparent that it must be an art show.
I have studied nature for almost 50 years, both in Africa and across Australia.
Nature is not some art tapestry, let me assure you.
I am only a happy snapper and not a photographer!!!
Thank god for that!!!
But I have a great knowledge on nature and wild life.
I find your picture quiet natural.
