    Dear Helen,
welcome to FC. From this picture I can already see that your creativeness as a writer will extend to photography, too. Very interesting endeed. I've visited SF 3 or 4 times (for some conferences). It's a great place for creative photography, so I expect to see a lot of great pics from you.

As to the advice on postprocessing, use the largest file size as you can (130 KB). Increase contrast in Photoshop to the upper aceptable level. Use sharpness in the same way. Also, learn to use "Adjust Selective Colors" in Photoshop to control tonal ranges in your pics.

Thanks for the tips Matthias, I'll try that. Thanks also for your welcoming personal note.
  • Matthias Moritz 07/04/2005 17:42

Its different to all other much seen bridge photos..:-))

    Advices for post processing:

May be, you can put some more contrast and sharpness into it?

This photo has only 77kb. The upload limit is at 130Kb. If you adjust the file parameters in your photo editing programm, you can avoid the automatic fc-optimizing during the upload. You will get a much more satisfying quality.

    Best regards
    Matthias
