The original shot war a quite boring result like many flower photos. After post processing with PS (BW layer combined with color layer) I had a simple square photo that I wanted to enhance a bit…I then used a brush, picked up the color in the photo and painted the the surrounding blossom petals in PS.
My question: Does this proceedure really improve the image or is it just a play with PS?

if it improves the image? we need to see the original, but it looks very interesting and appealing, maybe a black background would make it more mysterious and flaming...
