Pastels of Spring (with chrome accents)
A gray, damp, and rather unappealing day in early May reminded
me of a similar stretch of “hesitant” springtime a couple of years ago.
When the weather finally turned, with lovely blue cumulus-bedecked skies, I just
had to grab up a camera and explore some nearby roads in search of spring pastels.
It was still a bit early for finding such colors in budding trees, but this mid-60s
Chevrolet Corvair, sporting antique plates, was a happy enough pastel-substitute.
From an Agfacolor negative.
